Steen Leleur (SL) arbejder med at udvikle multi-model
transportplanlægning ved hjælp af teknisk modellering, der bl.a.
omfatter beslutningsstøttesystemer (BSS), effektmodeller, GIS
modeller og risikovurderings-modeller. Disse modeller udvikles
løbende og efterspørges til beslutningsstøtte specielt i
forbindelse med store infrastrukturprojekter.
Steen Leleur is professor of decision support systems and
planning and is responsible for the specialisation in
transport planning and traffic engineering within the Master
Programme “Transport and Logistics”. His most recent
book is "Complex Strategic Choices – Applying
Systemic Planning for Strategic Decision Making" published in 2012
by Springer in its Series in Decision Engineering. Previously
he has published textbooks in Danish and English about transport
planning and traffic engineering. Over the years Steen Leleur has
been involved in many international research projects, among others
several within the European Commission’s strategic transport
research programmes.
