DTU Transport offers a wide range of courses covering all subjects within traffic and transportation. The courses range from introductory subjects within traffic engineering to postgraduate courses in traffic modelling.
Furthermore, DTU Transport supervises several Bachelor and Master thesis projects every year. The subjects of these projects mainly fall within DTU Transport's focus research areas, i.e. traffic engineering, traffic and transport modelling, transport optimisation, decision modelling research, transport economy and traffic safety. However, also multi-disciplinary projects are carried out at DTU Transport.
The semesters at DTU are given over a 13-week period. The fall semester begins in early September and ends in early December. The spring semester begins in early February and ends in early May. After each semester exams are given over a period of approx. 2 weeks. Finally, DTU offers so-called 3-weeks courses in January and June which typically feature full-day activities.
DTU Transport plays an important role in connection with DTU's masters degree programme in Transport and Logistics.
All DTU Transport's teaching activities are supervised by the educational committee.
